Not really! I arrived with Gure-san in August! ...

I suppose it will have been a year in a few days. I should do something special then!

And now that I think of it... it'll be six months for me in August, too.

Gure-san is a most old and dear friend of mine as well! We and Tori-san composed the revered and celebrated Mabudachi Trio after all! When he mentioned he was to check on my brother, I couldn't turn down such an opportunity.

Clearly, we need an occation free of the stresses and pecularities of camp! I have just the idea!

..Sohma-san has a brother? Wow, I'm learning a lot of new things tonight! The Sohmas are really a big family...

Something of a friendly adult's night out? Minagawa-san has seemed stressed, and I do beleive I could lure another friend or two in, if you could drag a certain Meda-san along~

It definitely is! And yes, when a family is so big that it's almost impossible to know everyone in it.

It's vast and slightly daunting in it's own way. That and I moved away from them to start my own business. You could say I've seen more of them this year than I have since I was a child. It hasn't been a bad thing.

I honestly can't say that it's been unkind to me, overall.

No, not at all. Mm... I'm an only child, my father passed away a couple of years ago and my mother left when I was still a child, so I don't know where she is or how she's doing... as for the rest of the family, we really aren't that close, so I don't count them.

In that sense, I do beleive it has a great deal of how I choose to appreciate the situation. I'm far removed from some of the most... restrictive influences in my life, have family and new friends here. Once one learns that zombies are repelled by sparkles, it becomes a rather comfortable, if perpetually malodorous habitat.

... Mmm. It doesn't seem as though a smaller family is much easier, by the sound of it. Ah, skewed perceptions again!

That's true... I wouldn't mind it so much myself if it weren't for the fact that I'm not used to spend so much time in the same place. My work schedule has spoiled me and... as a consequence, now I feel sort of 'trapped' here. But it could always be worse.

So it seems! Ah, but maybe it's better like this. And as much as I would like to start a family of my own, I don't think I'll ever be ready for that.

You travel a lot? Ahhh, that wouldn't be a bad life, slip away to exotic locations, green and golds fabrics against the deep blue sky in Caero today, reds and blacks in Taxco tomorrow~ Something of an inspiration to be unfettered to see the colors and Romance of the world~

Well... not QUITE an option at the moment, but I wonder if it would be possible to convince camp to change scenery now and then?

It IS kind of a frightening thought. To take care of more than oneself is a bit of a daunting responsibility, is it not?

I do, because of work, I'm constantly flying to different countries, it's really fun and interesting! And mm... we did have snow the other day, didn't we? Now if only we could have a beach instead of a swamp, for example~

I could have gone without the snow! ♥ My destinations shall only be of temperate climates of which one would enjoy being accustomed to! Ahh, lawnchairs out, bright umbrellas against white sand and the lapping of cool seawater.

Tch, society has a certain pressure for one to be such to be a proper gentleman! One must only take to such challenges when they are of both a proper circumstance and mindset!

I agree wholeheartedly! And really, sometimes being a proper gentleman has very little, if nothing, to do with that sort of things.

Nor particularly heated ones! Perhaps I am merely a spoiled soul, desiring even the weather at my call... Though, with suitable close company, a cold evening can be quite comfortable~

Circumstance, position and taxes... it doesn't make for a very good family situation, to be honest, as picture perfect as it can look.

Very true! It has been a thought of mine for decades now! ~ As usual, we speak the same language, Kiha-san. The thought of a cheerful fireplace, and a blanket with enough room for two curled up close.

Finding is only half the challenge, really. There are storybooks with less complications and fewer bittersweet tastes.
