And if I want to? I have gathered the last remnants of my sanity to manage enough conversations for tonight, but if I have to do it one more night I may end up killing a few people myself. And I'd prefer going out like this-- to end the game early, to help a few terrified kids-- than watching them have to put themselves through this again. You know no one suspects Genis and Mithos hardly at all. It's us and the twins who are most likely to go up to ousting; which means we'd prolong the game another night for more innocent, probably unrelated people to die, and for the rest of the players to feel more scared and helpless than they ever have.
I am a selfish, arrogant, paranoid asshole, Itachi. But I remember what being a child trapped in a terrifying situation you can't get out of feels like. I remember it well. And if it will end the game early, even if there's a sliver of a chance-- I want to do it. Even if it means asking you to die with me.
But you know who the most suspicious teams are out of the clue. As much as we'd like to think no one could believe we'd be wolves, very few of us are thinking logically. They'll latch onto anyone they think they can scapegoat just to get out of a bad situation.
And I doubt either of the Shepherds would allow one person to substitute a wolf team. I think it's a team for a team, if anything.
If/when we die, I mean. I haven't seen him in a few years. I don't think we'd be in any state to chat, but if he sees me I think he'll pass us along just fine.
I know that's not why you brought me here. But I'm willing to do it, even if it means Axel will beat me within an inch of my life for acting recklessly again.
If we can switch for them, then it wouldn't be difficult to put us up for vote. No one is going to vote for the safe sheep team.

How strongly would you disagree to having us take it instead?

I think I have a damn good reason to want to do this, Akiha. And I think you should listen.

What about waiting until tomorrow, just to see what the Shepherd's answer to my offering is?
